Flatlander Coffee & Flowers was created by Brian and Lisa Siemonsma. Our goal is to provide Rapid City and the surrounding community with coffee and flowers made with excellence, in a place that everyone feels like a neighbor.

Coffee: We believe that every cup should be intentionally crafted. To do this well, we have decided to partner with a West Coast roaster that is recognized as a top contributor in the specialty coffee world (will announce soon). Every bean is handpicked, ethically sourced, roasted, and delivered ready to brew delicious coffee. We will emulate that excellence and precision in every brew method, ensuring that the coffee experience you receive at Flatlander is the highest quality.

The Floral Studio: We are equally thrilled to be opening our floral studio. Born from our humble flower farm Homestake Flowers, the studio will be creating pieces with the same intention and treatment as our coffee. Upon opening, the flower menu will include daily wrapped bouquets, custom orders, weddings, and more. The designs will be impactful, meaningful, rich, and beautiful. Sparking joy is the goal.

A Place For Growth: One of the ways we will foster a welcoming space for our community is with our Creative Rooms. There will be two private rooms tailored toward people looking to enrich our local culture. They will be rentable by the hour, easily booked online, and can be used for business meetings, bible studies, education, etc. So far our locals have reached out with ideas such as book clubs, pop ups, tutoring, watercolor classes, coaching, homeschooling groups, co-ops, and more.

Our chief goal is to be good neighbors, the kind that you can share time and space with. Where you feel welcome and valued. That is our hope and prayer for Flatlander.
